Angie Fritsch
Owner & Program Director, Tumbling and Gymnastics

Angie Fritsch, one of the owners of Twister Sports, is responsible for the recreational and competitive tumbling and gymnastics programs. Angie grew up around tumbling and trampoline when her mom owned Talley's Tumblers, Warrensburg, Mo. She competing in National Acrobat Competition and MATS as a child, and then began coaching for her mom at 16 years old. She continued coaching with her mom for the Whiteman Youth Sports program and Warrensburg Parks and Recreation prior to opening Twister Sports. Angie is USASF certified coach for stunting and tumbling. "My favorite thing about the gym is watching my young athletes succeed. I enjoy seeing a sense of pride in themselves when they accomplish something new. It's rewarding for them - and I love to see it. It brightens my day when I see kids come to work hard, and most importantly, they are excited to be here." Angie is originally from Warrensburg, Mo.

Danielle Johnston
Owner & Program Director, Cheerleading and Dance

Danielle Johnston, one of the owners of Twister Sports, is responsible for the competitive and recreational Cheerleading and Dance programs. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with emphasis in Political Science from the University of Central Missouri. She was in the Air Force Reserve as a hydraulics maintainer on A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft and the deputy chief of public affairs for seven years. She has been cheering since she was in elementary school, and began coaching cheerleading in 2001. She has coached for Upward programs as well as various recreational cheerleading and dance programs, including Whiteman Youth Sports program and Warrensburg Parks and Recreation. She is certified to level 5 in stunting and tumbling through the USASF and holds additional certifications through the NYSCA and AACCA for cheerleading. "I love when people call our gym a family. Our kids look at the families in this gym as their families - so when they look at us that way too - it's very heartwarming." Danielle is originally from Chicago, Ill.

Dustin Fritsch
Owner & Program Director, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Dustin Fritsch, one of the owners of Twister Sports, is a brown belt shingitai jiu jitsu, working toward his blue belt in brazilian jiu jitsu, and an instructor at Twister Sports. Along with being a Certified Personal Trainer, Dustin coaches recreational and competitive tumbling and gymnastics. He is certified in CPR and AED procedures. He has more than seven years of experience in martial arts. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri in December 2014. "I love coaching. I enjoy watching and helping kids achieve their goals and become more physically fit!" Dustin is in charge of the Martial Arts program and the Adult Fitness program for Twister Sports. Dustin is originally from Warrensburg, Mo.

Justin Johnston
Owner & Facility Manager

Justin Johnston is one of the owners of Twister Sports, is responsible for general management, overall safety, and facility maintenance at the gym. He has served in the Air Force for 17 years and is the ground safety manager for the 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. He works to improve the facility and overall safety and comfort level for coaches, athletes and families at the gym. His expertise and excellent craftsmanship have built a custom preschool tumbling area, a workout room for parents and a multipurpose room for dance and jiu jitsu at the Warrensburg location. He designed a complete renovation of the Sedalia facility turning it into a valuable building with suitable ceiling height and open floor plan. "The work everyone else does with the kids is fantastic. My job is to look at the overall facility and see how we can make it better. I focus on how we can work on the building to make it more exciting and more comfortable for the athletes and their families." Justin is originally from Los Angeles, Calif.

Jennie Snapp
Gym Manager

Jennie Snapp is the manager of Twister Sports. She began as a front desk associate in 2013 and was promoted to gym manager in May 2014. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, the Twister retail consignment program, client communications and special event planning. She is a senior at the University of Central Missouri majoring in Fashion Merchandising with an emphasis in business administration. Jennie has 6 years of tumbling and gymnastics experience. She is originally from Lexington, Mo.

Patrick Davison
Director of Recreational Tumbling

Patrick Davison was the Twister Sports 2013 Outstanding New Coach of the Year. He is a senior at the University of Central Missouri studying elementary education. He certified in CPR and first aid and USASF certified. Patrick is the Director of the Recreational Tumbling program at Twister Sports. He has been with Twisters since 2013. He is originally from Kansas City, Mo.

Jaclyn Brown
Director of Cheerleading, Tumbling Coach

Jaclyn Brown has coached with Twister Sports since 2012. She currently coaches two competitive tumbling teams and two competitive cheerleading squads. Jaclyn was a high school, college and all-star cheerleader with 15 years of experience in cheerleading and tumbling. She is a junior at the University of Central Missouri majoring in Child and Family Development. She is a USASF certified cheerleading coach who is originally from Warrensburg, Mo. Danielle Ritchey
Director of Artistic Gymnastics

Danielle Ritchie coaches artistic gymnastics at Twister Sports. She is responsible for all preschool, recreational, pre-Team and Competitive Gymnastics at Twisters. She has 19 years of experience on the uneven bars, balance beam, vault and spring floor routines. She has coached gymnastics and tumbling for 10 years. She is originally from Bedford, Penn.

Abby Frandsen
Director of Dance; Tumbling & Trampoline Coach

Abby Frandsen was the Twister Sports 2013 Coach of the Year. She is a junior at the University of Central Missouri studying corporate fitness. Abby is USASF certified and has competed in power tumbling and trampoline through USAG. She is the director at dance programs at Twister Sports and began our All-Star Dance Hip Hop Team in 2014. "I love the 'family' feeling at Twisters and seeing the kids' excitement when they learn a new skill."

Dr. Jen Case
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Dr. Jen Case has a PhD in Human Nutrition with an emphasis in metabolism and performance. She is a Kempo Black Belt, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt and professionally competes in Mixed Martial Arts. Dr. Case is a kinesiology professor at the University of Central Missouri. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Athletic Trainer. She is originally from Clay Center, Kan.

Jessica Bernard
Cheerleading Coach

Jessica Bernard is a Competitive Cheerleading coach at Twister Sports. Jessica was an all-star competitive cheerleader and a high school cheerleader with experience in hip hop dance, in California prior to enlisting in the Air Force and receiving orders to Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. She is majoring in Business Management and has coached Whiteman Cheerleading & Dance and Twister cheerleading and tumbling since 2011. "My favorite part of coaching is helping children achieve their goals." Jessica currently coaches four competitive cheerleading squads at Twister Sports.

Luis DeLeon
Cheerleading & Tumbling Coach

Luis DeLeon coaches four competitive cheerleading squads at Twister Sports in addition to teaching flyers, jumps and stunting clinics. He is a Junior at the University of Central Missouri majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations. He has cheered for 10 years and has experience in high school, college and all-star cheerleading. He is currently a cheerleader with UCM. Luis also teaches recreational tumbling classes. He is originally from Ferguson, Mo.

Jacob Sarver
Assistant Director of Artistic Gymnastics; Tumbling Coach

Jacob Sarver is a coach at both Twister Sports locations. He is a sophomore at State Fair Community College studying physical athletics and business. He has seven years of experience coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics. Jacob is Twisters' newest competitive gymnastics instructor. He is originally from Sedalia, Mo.

Aimee Nicolson
Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Trampoline & Tumbling Coach

Aimee Nicolson began coaching at Twisters in 2014. As a new coach, she quickly took on the responsibilities of coaching a variety of classes in the gym. She has 11 years of cheerleading and gymnastics experience. She is a senior in college majoring in Child and Family Development. Aimee is originally from Knob Noster, Mo.

Kelsey Meyer
Tumbling Coach

Kelsey Meyer began coaching for Twisters in 2012. She currently is a nursing student and is CPR certified. In 2014 Kelsey earned a promotion to a competitive coaching position. Kelsey competed in National Acrobat Compulsory tumbling and trampoline as a child and was a high school cheerleader. "I love meeting new kids and then later seeing them in public - and they recognize you! It's important to make an impact like that on kids." Kelsey is originally from Warrensburg, Mo.
